We deeply regret to announce the passing of Sean Faughey, formerly of Dundalk, Co Louth and residing in London, on July 23, 2023. Surrounded by his beloved wife, Joan, daughter, Ann-Marie, and son-in-law, John, Sean peacefully departed this world. His infectious humor, resilience, and wisdom will be sorely missed by his extended family, friends, and the London Irish business community. Sean’s indelible mark was made when he established the pioneering Mandy’s Irish Shop in Willesden Green in 1964. Originating from Co Kerry, he held a special affection for The Kingdom, especially in matters concerning football.

Visitation will be held at his residence in Shinnagh, Rathmore, Co. Kerry {P51 XH92} on Monday, August 7th, from 6:00 PM to 7:30 PM. The Requiem Mass will then be conducted at St. Joseph’s Church, Rathmore on Tuesday, August 8th, at 11:00 AM, followed by interment in the adjacent cemetery.
