Seán KEANE

Notice: Seán Keane of Rathcoole, previously of Drimnagh and a former member of The Chieftains, passed away peacefully at home on May 7, 2023. He was the beloved husband of the late Marie and the cherished father of Déirdre, Páraic, and Darach. Seán is deeply missed by his loving family, including his brother James, son-in-law Alex, daughters-in-law Anne and Erin, as well as his grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and a large circle of friends and neighbors. Funeral arrangements will be announced later.

Seán Keane, a former member of The Chieftains, died peacefully at his home in Rathcoole on May 7, 2023, at the age of 74. He was a dear husband to the late Marie and a devoted father to his three children, Déirdre, Páraic, and Darach. Seán is survived by his brother James, son-in-law Alex, daughters-in-law Anne and Erin, and a host of extended family members and friends. He will be sorely missed by his grandchildren and remembered fondly for his contributions to the music industry. Funeral arrangements have not yet been announced.
