Notice: Seán McElwee, lovingly known as Mac Giollabhuí, has passed away at his home on July 22, 2023. He was preceded in death by his wife Jean and is survived by his partner Máire, his four sons Niall, Shane, Naoise, and Muiris, their partners Sylwia, Jess, Giselle, and Lindsay, his grandchildren Seán, Nella, Seosamh, Hugh, and Saorlaith, as well as his sister Sheila, brothers Seamus and Hugh, nephews, nieces, extended family members, and a wide circle of friends. Seán’s funeral arrangements include a viewing at his home in Malahide, Co. Dublin on July 28th, and a subsequent viewing at Óstán Loch Altan, Gortahork, Co. Donegal on July 30th. The Funeral Mass will be held at 11am in Teach Pobail Chríost Rí, Gortahork, followed by burial at Fintown Cemetery, Fintown, Co. Donegal. Flowers from the family only are requested.
