Sharon Johnston

Notice: Sharon Johnston of Ballybay, Co. Monaghan, passed away peacefully on June 30th at Cavan General Hospital, surrounded by her loved ones. She is deeply mourned and fondly remembered by her sons Sam and Jack, their father Gavin, parents Ann and Robert, extended family, friends, and neighbors. Sharon’s gentle soul will rest eternally in peace.

Her home, located at 6 Loch Mor Avenue, Ballybay, will be the site of her wake on Sunday from 12 noon until 8pm. On Monday morning, her funeral procession will depart from her residence at 11:30am and proceed by foot to St. Patrick’s Church in Ballybay for the funeral Mass at 12 noon. She will then be laid to rest at the adjoining cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions to the Ballybay Cancer Society can be made through Ward’s Funeral Home or via the donation box. The privacy of Sharon’s house will be respected on Monday morning.
