Sr. Elizabeth Delaney

Notice: Sr. Elizabeth Delaney, of Navan Road, Dublin and formerly of St. Mary’s, Cabra, Muckross Park, Lisbon, and Ballyfermot, passed away on May 6, 2023. She was surrounded by the love and care of her Dominican sisters and the staff of Santa Sabina House. Sr. Elizabeth is survived by her sister Bridie Hourigan, along with nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews, great-grandnieces, great-grandnephews, cousins, and close friends who deeply regret her passing. Sr. Elizabeth’s parents were Michael and Mary Delaney, and she was predeceased by her brothers Martin and Pat, and her sisters Kathleen, Peig Ryan, Sara O’Loughlin, and Maureen Rochford.

Sr. Elizabeth has generously donated her body to medical science. A mass to celebrate her life will be held at the Dominican Convent Chapel Cabra Campus DO7 Y2E7 on Tuesday, May 9 at 2 pm. Those who are unable to attend in person can view the mass live via the link provided.

Sr. Elizabeth is remembered fondly by those closest to her and will be deeply missed. Her commitment to giving is evident through her selfless donation to medical science. May she rest in peace.
