Sr. Rosaria {Assumpta} King

Notice: Sr Rosaria {Assumpta} King, of Presentation Convent, New Road, Clondalkin, Ireland, passed away peacefully on May 9, 2023, at Shalom Nursing Home, Kilcock. She was surrounded by her Presentation Community. A native of Clarina, Co Limerick, Sr Rosaria was predeceased by her parents, her sisters and brothers. She is survived by her Presentation Sisters, sister Monica, brother Basil, nieces, nephews, grand-nieces, grand-nephews, a wide circle of friends and family in Ireland, Slovakia, USA, Canada, and Australia. Sr Rosaria had devoted her life to Catholic education, serving communities in Ireland and Slovakia. She will be missed by school communities at Rockford Manor and Clondalkin Presentation Secondary Schools. Reposing will be at The Brian McElroy Funeral Home, Monastery Road, Clondalkin Village on Thursday from 4pm to 6pm with prayers at 5:45pm. Funeral Mass will take place on Friday, May 12, at 1pm in Church of the Immaculate Conception, Clondalkin Village, followed by burial in Newlands Cemetery.
