Hannah Buckley, known as Sr. Vianney, passed away peacefully on July 17th, 2023 in San Antonia, Texas, U.S.A. She was formerly from Clounmacon, Listowel, Co. Kerry. She is preceded in death by her sisters Elizabeth Bambury, Mary O’Shea, Sr. Vincent, Sr. Barbara, Sr. Immaculata, and her brother Diarmuid {Deemy}. Sr. Vianney will be deeply missed by her Congregation, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbors, and a wide circle of friends.
May her gentle soul find eternal rest.
A Requiem Mass will be held for Sr. Vianney on Wednesday, August 2nd at 4:15 p.m. {Irish time} in St. Matthew’s Church, San Antonia, Texas. The Mass will be livestreamed at https://youtube.com/live/3dIV15jzPOU?feature=share. She will be laid to rest in San Antonia.
