Notice: Stephen Cuthbert passed away unexpectedly at home in Drumcondra, Dublin on April 27th, 2023. He had previously resided in Artane, Dublin. Survived by his family members, Susan, David, Michael, brother Dessie, his children‘s mother Bernadette, and extended family and friends, Stephen’s funeral was held at The Church of St Vincent De Paul in Griffith Avenue, Marino. He was then buried at Kilbarrack Cemetery in Sutton. The funeral was available to attend virtually via a web camera. The family asked for donations to be made in Stephen’s memory to Guide Dogs for the Blind or a charity of the individual’s choice, and requested no flowers be given. Messages of condolence could be left online on the website, and the funeral home was not responsible for any issues regarding the streaming of the funeral. Stephen’s passing is mourned by his loved ones.

His funeral was held on May 8th, following a period of repose at Stafford’s Funeral Home on North Strand Road. The service was viewable online for those unable to attend in person. To honor Stephen’s memory, the family requested donations for Guide Dogs for the Blind or a chosen charity, instead of flowers. Messages of condolence were available online and in traditional forms. Despite technical difficulties, Stephen’s loved ones were able to come together to pay their respects to the deceased.
