Stephen & Winifred {Freda} COWLEY

Notice: Stephen and Winifred {Freda} Cowley, formerly of Carlow, passed away peacefully in the US. Freda, age 88, died in March 2016, and Stephen, age 95, passed in September 2022. They leave behind their beloved daughters Elaine, Mary, and Stephanie, as well as grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Freda’s brother, John Nelson of Dublin, also mourns their loss. Stephen was known for his storytelling abilities, while Freda was cherished for her kindness and warm smile. Their children, grandchildren, extended family, and friends will greatly miss them.

A funeral Mass for the couple’s ashes will be held on July 1st at 11am at The Holy Cross Church in Killeshin, followed by burial in the adjoining cemetery.
