Teresa Murphy{née Hamilton}

Notice: Teresa Murphy, née Hamilton, passed away peacefully on May 8th, 2023, at her home in Tinneranny, Rosbercon. Previously of Ballyneale, Tullogher, Co. Kilkenny, Murphy was predeceased by her husband Tom and her sister Bridget O’Neill. She is survived by her children Caitriona, Carmel-Ann, Tommy, Paudie, and Treasa, as well as her grandchildren Aoibhinn, Anna, Clara, Aaron, Seán, Ella, Oisin, Adam, Sam, Caoimhe, Emily and Niamh. Teresa was also loved and will be missed by her numerous relatives, neighbors and friends.

Reposals were held on Thursday, May 11th in Doyle’s Funeral Home, The Old Rectory, Rosbercon, followed by the Rosary at 7 pm. The funeral took place on Friday, May 12th with the Requiem Mass held at The Church Of The Assumption, Rosbercon followed by burial at the adjoining cemetery. Her funeral mass could be viewed online on this website https://rosberconparish.ie/webcam/. The family ask that their privacy be respected and no one visits the house at this time. May she rest in peace.

Teresa Murphy died peacefully on May 8th, 2023, at her residence in Tinneranny, Rosbercon. Preceding Murphy in death were her husband Tom and sister Bridget O’Neill. Teresa is remembered by her five children, Caitriona, Carmel-Ann, Tommy, Paudie, and Treasa, and twelve grandchildren. Her relatives, neighbors, and friends will remember her with love and fondness. Reposing at Doyle’s Funeral Home, The Old Rectory, Rosbercon were held, followed by a funeral Mass at The Church Of The Assumption, Rosbercon. She was interred alongside her husband at a local cemetery. The funeral mass was available for viewing on the Rosbercon Parish website. Murphy’s family requested that privacy be respected and no visitors be received.
