Notice: Teresa peacefully passed away at her home after receiving loving support and care from both her family and caregivers for 13 years. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband Denis, brothers William, John Patrick, Michael, Seamus, and sister Mary. Her daughters Anita and Maura are deeply saddened by her loss. She will always hold a special place in the hearts of her sons-in-law Tom Hamilton and Martin Sumner, as well as her grandchildren Shannon, Dylan, Owen, and Jack Sumner. Teresa is also survived by her sister Margaret Deery, sisters-in-law Chrissie Healy and Mary O’Mahony, her caring neighbor Margaret Brannigan, as well as her neighbors in Hillcourt and dedicated caregivers. May she rest in peace.
There will be a visitation at her residence on Friday evening from 6:30 to 8:30 o’clock. The funeral service will be held on Saturday morning at St. Brigid’s Church Drum, Athlone, followed by burial in Drum Cemetery at 11 o’clock.
