Notice: Surrounded by her loving family, peacefully, she passed away. Her husband James {Jimmy}, son David {Davy}, parents Helen and John, grandsons Noel Gorman, Paul Nesbitt, and David James Cooney, granddaughter Marita Cooney, and son-in-law Jim Kelly preceded her in death. She will be deeply missed by her grieving family, Helen, John, Jimmy, Christy, Margaret, Kathleen, Alice, Ruby Lucinda, Elizabeth, Charlotte, and Thomas, as well as sons-in-law, daughters-in-law, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nephews, nieces, relatives, and friends.
May she find eternal peace.
The funeral arrangements are as follows: she will be reposing in the Eternity Room of Quinn’s Funeral Homes in Dundalk from 4pm on Friday, August 11th, with a prayer for Theresa’s soul at 4pm. The prayer can be viewed at https://rip-notices.com/death-notice/theresa-cooney-galway-526241.
On Saturday, August 12th, at 10.20am, the funeral procession will drive via Aisling Park to St. Nicholas’ Church, where Funeral Mass will take place at 11am. After the Mass, the cortege will proceed on foot to St. Patrick’s Cemetery for burial.
