Notice: Thomas, formerly of Howmedica, An Slua Muirí, and Presentation RFC, passed away peacefully on July 24th, 2023, surrounded by his family and under the loving care of the Thomond Ward at St. Camillus’ Hospital. He will be greatly missed by his beloved wife Mary, his children Dermot and Ciara, his daughter-in-law Caroline, his son-in-law Justin, and his cherished grandchildren Daniel, Méabh, and Lauren. Thomas is also survived by his siblings, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, extended family, and numerous friends.
Visitation for Thomas will take place at Griffin’s Funeral Home, John’s Gate on July 26th at 5pm. His body will be then transferred to St. Munchin’s Church, Clancy Strand, with a removal service at 6:30pm. Requiem Mass in his honor will be held on July 27th at 11am, followed by burial at Castlemungret Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the St. Munchin’s Restoration Fund.
