Notice: Thomas Ivan Armstrong, a resident of Donaghmore House in Manorhamilton, Co. Leitrim, passed away peacefully on August 4th, 2023, while surrounded by his loved ones at Sligo University Hospital. He is fondly remembered by his wife June, sons Geoffrey and Ashley, daughter Amanda, sisters Shirley and Sandra, and his grandchildren Gillian, Ben, Matthew, Jody, Ralph, and Ruben. He is also survived by his daughter-in-law Helen, son-in-law Bjorn, and Geoffrey’s partner Fiona. Thomas was predeceased by his late sister Valerie and brother Kitt. He will be deeply missed by his family, nephews, nieces, extended family, neighbors, and friends.
A remembrance ceremony will take place at the Chapel of Ease in Manorhamilton Hospital {F91 X012} on Saturday, August 5th, from 6pm to 8pm. Following this, there will be a transfer to Cloonclare, Church of Ireland, Manorhamilton, to arrive at 8.30pm. The funeral service will be held on Sunday, August 6th, at 2pm, followed by burial in the adjoining cemetery. The family kindly requests privacy at this time, and requests that only family flowers be sent. Donations can be made to a charity of your choosing.
