Thomas McManus

Notice: Thomas McManus of New Malden, Surrey, and formerly of Aughakilmore, Co.Longford and Tourmakeady, Co. Mayo, has passed away peacefully after a short illness bravely borne. Predeceased by his parents John and Bridget, his twin brother, sisters Breege and Nuala, and brother Sean. Tom was surrounded by his loving family when he passed away on 11th April 2023, at the Royal Marsden Hospital. Tom will be remembered fondly by his family: his wife Patsy, daughters Susan and Michelle, sons Sean and Brendan, as well as his grandkids, Michelle’s partner Martin and Sean’s partner Sarah. He will also be missed by his sisters, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, cousins, grandnieces and grandnephews, friends and former work colleagues at O’Halloran and O’Brien.

There will be a requiem Mass at the Sacred Heart Wimbledon, Edge Hill, Wimbledon, London, SW19 4LU, on Tuesday 9th May at 12.00 noon. The Mass will be streamed live on https://www.churchservices.tv/wimbledon. The funeral and burial will take place in Tourmakeady, with the reception into St. Mary’s Church on Thursday, 11th May at 6.30 pm. The funeral mass is scheduled for 12 noon on Friday, 12th May, at Saint Mary’s Church, Tourmakeady, and followed by burial in the adjoining Cemetery. The mass will be live-streamed on http://www.churchtv.ie/tourmakeady. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Royal Marsden Hospital or Cancer Care West.
