It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Thomas {Tom} Costello of Pollaphuca, Cloonfad, Ballyhaunis, Co. Roscommon. He peacefully departed on August 5th, 2023, surrounded by his loving family in the compassionate care of the staff at Mayo Hospice. Tom was preceded in death by his beloved parents, Jane and James, as well as his sisters Mary and Anne, and brothers Patrick, Seamus, and John. He will be dearly missed by his cherished wife Kathleen, his sons James, David, and Stephen, his daughters-in-law Sonia, Liz, and Noreen, his beloved grandchildren India, Raif, Cicely, Evelyn, and Isabella, his sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nephews, nieces, cousins, extended family, wonderful neighbors, and a wide circle of friends.
May he find eternal rest.
The family will receive friends at the PJ Keane Funeral Home in Cloonfad on Tuesday evening {August 8th} from 6 o’clock to 8 o’clock. Tom’s residence will be the starting point for the funeral procession on Wednesday morning, arriving at St. Patrick’s Church in Cloonfad for the Requiem Mass at 12 noon. Following the service, Tom will be laid to rest in Cloonfad Cemetery.
Due to the family’s request, the house will be private.
