Thomas {Tom} Maher

Notice: Thomas Maher, lovingly known as Tom, passed away peacefully on May 7, 2023, at the Our Lady’s Hospice, surrounded by his family. He was survived by his beloved wife Ellen, and children Keith, Elaine, and David, along with six grandchildren and a great-grandson, as well as his siblings, in-laws, and extended family and friends. His funeral mass was held on May 10, 2023, at the Sacred Heart Church in Sruleen, followed by his burial in the Newlands Cemetery, Clondalkin.

Prior to the funeral, Maher’s remains were laid at his home for public viewing on May 9, 2023, and family flowers only were requested. Those wishing to make donations were directed to the Our Lady’s Hospice in Harold’s Cross. Maher will be remembered fondly by all who knew him and he will be dearly missed by his loved ones.

Tom Maher, a devoted husband, father, and grandfather, passed away peacefully on May 7, 2023, at the hospice. Viewers watched the funeral mass at Sacred Heart Church in Sruleen on May 10, 2023, followed by his burial in the Newlands Cemetery. Tom will rest in peace at the hospice and his family requested donations to the Our Lady’s Hospice instead of flowers. On May 9, 2023, his remains were laid for the public to view at his home between 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. The family remembers him with love and sent their gratitude to the staff at Our Lady’s Hospice for the care provided to Tom.
