Thomas {Tommy} Reilly

Notice: Tommy Reilly, also known as Thomas Reilly, from Seaside, Belmullet and formerly of Surge View, Blacksod, passed away peacefully at the Mayo University Hospital in Castlebar on May 10th, 2023, surrounded by his family. He was the beloved husband of Sheila and father to Mary, Aidan, Tomás, and Michael, and grandfather to Isabella. Tommy was predeceased by his parents, John and Bridget, sisters Sheila Reilly and Kathleen O’Connor, and brother Joe. He is also survived by several family members, including his brother, sisters, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, and nieces and nephews. Tommy’s remains will be repatriated at the McDonnell Funeral Home in Belmullet on Friday evening before the funeral procession arrives at the Church of the Sacred Heart the following morning for a Funeral Mass, followed by his burial in Faulmore Cemetery.

He was predeceased by his parents, sisters, and brother, but he is survived by his beloved wife, Sheila, four children, Mary, Aidan, Tomás, and Michael, and a beloved granddaughter, Isabella. Tommy was also survived by many family members, including his siblings, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, and nephews. Those who would like to pay their respects are invited to attend his wake at McDonnell’s Funeral Home, Belmullet. Tommy’s funeral Mass will take place at the Church of the Sacred Heart, Belmullet, with live streaming available for those unable to attend in person.
