Notice: Thomas {Tom} Flanagan of Knockalaghta, Ballintubber, Co. Roscommon passed away peacefully on July 30th, 2023, in the care of the staff of Portiuncula Hospital, surrounded by his loving family. He is survived by his wife Catherine {Kathleen} and children Elaine, Brian, Patricia, Maria, and Mark, as well as his grandchildren and extended family. Tom will be greatly missed by his brothers, sisters, in-laws, nieces, nephews, cousins, neighbors, and friends.
Reposing at his family home in Knockalaghta, Ballintubber, from 4pm to 8pm on Tuesday, August 1st, 2023. Funeral Mass will take place on Wednesday, August 2nd, 2023, at St. Bride’s Church, Ballintubber, followed by burial in Ballintubber cemetery. The family extends their gratitude to the staff of Aras Mhathair Phoil, Castlerea, for their compassionate care of Tom during his final months.
