Tom Bracken

Notice: Tom Bracken, a beloved husband, father, and grandfather, passed away peacefully on May 9th, 2023, at Portlaoise General Hospital, surrounded by his loving family. He was predeceased by his infant son Vincent and recently by his son Declan. Tom’s loss will be deeply felt by his wife Nancy, children Phil, Enda, Sean, Kevin, Ann, Michael, and Feargal, as well as his 23 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren. He was also a cherished brother-in-law, uncle, and friend to many.

Tom’s funeral will take place at SS Peter and Paul’s Church on Friday, May 12th, 2023. Those who cannot attend in person can view the mass online. Due to COVID-19 precautions, the family requests that only family flowers be sent. A wake will be held at Keegans Funeral Home on Thursday with a Rosary at 8 pm. Tom will be buried in the Heath Cemetery following the mass.

Tom’s death is a great loss to his family, friends, neighbors, and customers. His kind nature and positive spirit will be greatly missed. To leave condolences, please comment below.
