Tom Mallon

Notice: Tom Mallon, aged 78, passed away peacefully on Sunday, May 14th at Cavan General Hospital, surrounded by his family. He was a resident of Castleblayney, Co. Monaghan and was formerly of Carnagh, Keady, Co. Armagh. He is survived by his daughter Bernie, grand-daughter Colleen, and grandsons Colm, Cathal, and Patrick. His extended family and friends also mourn his loss. Tom’s daughter Bernie will host the wake at her residence, 25 Ard Na Lurgan, where Tom will repose today from 4pm until 8pm and again tomorrow from 4pm until 8pm.

The funeral cortège will depart from Bernie’s residence on Wednesday morning at 11:30am to arrive at St Mary’s Church Castleblayney at 12 noon for funeral mass, followed by burial in the adjoining cemetery. The family asks for family flowers only, with donations being made to Castleblayney Cancer Society or through donation boxes. The house will be private for the family on Wednesday morning only. Tom will be remembered as a gentle soul and may he rest in eternal peace.
