Notice: Tom Mulcahy of Coolowen, Blarney/Whitechurch, Co. Cork, passed away peacefully at home on July 29th, 2023, surrounded by his family. He was the beloved husband of Marie and devoted father to Seán, Valerie, Deirdre, and Onóra. Tom was also a dear brother to Celeste, Mary, and John V. He will be deeply missed by his loving wife, children, daughters-in-law Sylvia and Gabby, son-in-law David, Valerie’s partner Nicci, grandchildren Rían, Saoirse, Éabha, Thomas, and Hannah, as well as his extended family, friends, and neighbors.
Friends and family can pay their respects to Tom at his home on Monday, July 31st, from 5.00pm to 7.00pm. A Requiem Mass will be held on Tuesday, August 1st, at 12.30pm in St. Patrick’s Church, Whitechurch, with the option to view the ceremony online. Following the Mass, Tom will be laid to rest in Whitechurch Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Marymount Hospice.
