Fitzgerald {Connolly Road, Ballyphehane} passed away peacefully on August 20th 2023, surrounded by his loving family at Cork University Hospital, under the compassionate care of Dr Vitaly and his team. Tony Fitzgerald, beloved son of the late Timothy and Mary {née Archer} and dear brother of Kathleen {Daly}, Noreen, Breda {Milway}, Pat {Murphy}, Margaret {Callnan} and the late Sadie {Martin}, Michael, Teresa {Russell} and Chrissie {O’Callaghan}. He was also the nephew of the late Peggy Archer. He will be deeply mourned by his family, nieces, nephews, brothers-in-law, relatives, cousins Ann Archer and Patsy, his dear friend Ursula, and a wide circle of friends both at home and abroad.

Tony’s remains will be reposing at Fordes Funeral Home, South Gate Bridge on Wednesday {23rd} from 5.00pm to 6.00pm. The Requiem Mass will be held on Thursday {24th} at 11.00am at the Church of the Assumption, Ballyphehane. The service may be viewed online at HERE. Following the Mass, the funeral will take place at the Island Crematorium, Ringaskiddy.
