Ultan, a beloved and vibrant soul, peacefully departed this life surrounded by his loving mother, brothers, two feline companions, and close relatives.

Cut too short by an illness, Ultan faced his challenges with unwavering strength, maturity beyond his years, and admirable bravery, leaving a lasting impact on his family.

Ultan’s passing deeply saddens his heartbroken mother Kathy, as well as his devoted brothers Odie, Finn, and Conn, and his mother‘s caring partner Davy. His aunts Veronica, Mona, Mags, Elaine, Lillian, and uncles John, Colm, Brendan, and Liam, along with his numerous cousins, Michael, Aisling, Luke, Colm, Ben, Donagh, Ian, Clodagh, Sean, Ruairí, Jack, Ella, Oliver, Izzie, Noah, Maebh, Mikey, Eli, Joey, Fintan, Ronan, and Rian, also mourn his loss.

In addition, Ultan’s grand-aunt and grand-uncles, his school community at Canon Sheehan Primary School, his teammates at Doneraile GAA and Buttevant AFC, remember him fondly.

The family expresses heartfelt gratitude to Mercy University Hospital, Crumlin Children’s Hospital, St Luke’s Hospital Rathgar, Marymount Hospice, the Laura Lynn Foundation, and all the diligent healthcare professionals who provided exceptional care throughout Ultan’s illness.

A Mass of the Angels will be held on Tuesday, August 8th, 2023, at 2pm in the Church of The Nativity of The Blessed Virgin Mary, Doneraile.

Ultan will be laid to rest in the loving embrace of his grandparents Sean and Mary V Crowley, as well as his aunt Anne Marie in Oldcourt Cemetery.

May Ultan’s affectionate memory bring solace, consolation, and resilience to us today and always.
