Notice: Ursula Nunan {née Byrne} passed away peacefully on July 25th, 2023, in Glengara Nursing Home in Glenageary, Co. Dublin. She was surrounded by her loving family and lifelong friend Joan. Ursula was the beloved wife of the late David and a devoted mother to Carol, David, and Desmond. She is deeply mourned by her children, their partners Chris, Jason, and Olivier, her cherished grandchildren Ciara and Liam, as well as her brother Ken, sister-in-law Marcia, brothers-in-law Michael and Donal, cousins, nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbors, and friends. Ursula’s late sister Muriel is also remembered.
Reposing will take place at Quinn’s of Glasthule on Monday, July 31st, from 4pm to 6pm. The funeral will then be held on Tuesday, August 1st, at the Church of the Assumption in Dalkey, with a Funeral Mass at 10am. The Mass can be viewed at http://www.churchservices.tv/dalkey. Burial will follow at Shanganagh Cemetery. The family kindly requests no flowers, instead requesting donations to a charity of choice. The family expresses their gratitude for the sympathy and support received during this difficult time. May Ursula’s gentle soul rest in peace.
