Walter {Wally} Meehan

Notice: Walter {Wally} Meehan of Skerries, Co. Dublin, passed away peacefully on May 8th, 2023, at the Mater Private Hospital, surrounded by his loved ones. Wally is survived by Eric, Noel, and Monica, his devoted children, daughters-in-law, son-in-law, grandchildren, great-granddaughter, sibling, nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Margaret {Rita}. Wally’s funeral Mass will be held in St. Patrick’s Church, Skerries, and he will be buried in Ardla Cemetery.

Friends and family are invited to pay their respects at Lannon’s funeral home on Thursday from 3pm to 5pm. Those who are unable to attend the funeral services can watch Walter’s funeral Mass online via the link provided on the announcement.

Walter {Wally} Meehan will always be remembered for his love and devotion to his family, as well as his kindness and generosity to his friends and neighbors. He lived a full and happy life, and his memory will always be cherished by those who knew him.
