William {Bill, Billy} Murphy

Notice: William P. Murphy, also known as Bill Billy, peacefully passed away after a brief illness while being cared for by the staff at Cork University Hospital. He was the beloved son of the late John and Nellie {nee Grandon}, and also the brother of the late Philip, Marie {Rusch}, and Anne {Dalton}. William was the cherished husband of Marie {nee Ronayne} and the dear father of Brian, Colm, and Deirdre. He will be greatly missed and lovingly remembered by his wife, family, daughters-in-law Catherine and Maeve, grandchildren Cathal, Saoirse, Éadaoin, Ben, and Leah, as well as his nephews, nieces, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, extended family, neighbors, and friends. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Cork Cancer Research Centre.
