William, formerly of Sarsfield Avenue in Garryowen, Limerick and Nenagh, who served with distinction in the 12 Battalion Sarsfield Barracks O.N.E, peacefully passed away on March 15th, 2024 at Milford Care Centre, surrounded by his loving family.
He is preceded in death by his beloved Wife Peggy, daughter Jacqueline, Son Liam, Granddaughter Marguerite, and siblings.
William is deeply mourned by his sons James, daughter Mary, sons-in-law Derek, grandchildren, great grandchild Leah, nieces, nephews, as well as other relatives, neighbors, and friends.

A wake will be held at Cross’s Funeral Home on Tuesday, March 19th from 3.30pm to 5.30pm. His funeral will take place on Wednesday, March 20th at St. John’s Cathedral for Requiem Mass at 11am, followed by burial at Mt St Lawrence {Extension} Cemetery.
